About Will

Picture
Will has a passion for helping to create a better relationship and understanding between humans and horses.

When teaching, Will takes into consideration each horse as an individual and can guide you with what will work for you and your horse.  The aim is a deeper connection for both, so that your horse (and you) can feel completely comfortable, confident and relaxed in any situation.

Having experienced years of working with horses on sheep and cattle properties to outback stations, where he educated large numbers of unhandled horses to playing with multiple horses at liberty, his knowledge and readability of the horse is vast and continually growing.

It's from this background that has progressed Will's direction, as he realised that it is just as important to teach people as it is the horse and has found a talent for training both with his calm and patient demeanour.

To further enhance his repertoire, Will is also an accomplished Equine Acupuncturist and Bodyworker, which is aligned with his desire to help improve the horses' wellbeing.

Testimonials

"I really had no idea on how to be able to read my horse and know what i should be doing so that my horse would respected my boundaries and listen to what I wanted him to do and not what he wanted to do, let alone get on a float!

Will showed me what to look for, when I should ask my horse to move forward and how to let my horse relax, so that my horse knew he was safe.  Will had my anxious horse loading the float with ease,  leading my horse was no longer a problem, he no longer pushed me into the fence and respectfully walked behind me.  There is no way that I would have been able to do this by researching what to do over the internet, as we are all so different, so I was very grateful of such excellent results and my confidence with my horse escalated too."

"You would not believe how much energy my old boy has after an acupuncture session with Will. Even friends noticed how he appeared to be revived"

"My mare hated having my gelding in the  float with her and they were causing me all sorts of angst, ie:  angrily  pawing at the float floor and kicking out.   It only took one horse float loading session for Will to sort them both out and I haven't had any trouble float loading from either of them since."

"My horse was green and didn't want to go anywhere without another horse being in the lead.  Over time with Will's guidance, my horse's confidence grew (as did mine), I knew what techniques to apply when my horse didn't want to go where I wanted him to go, without using force.  It was amazing to make progress every time I rode and now we comfortably go out for a trail ride on our own as if it is just a "walk in the park".   My boy also isn't as needy for other horse company and loves being in the lead if I ride with another, just love our advancement!!
